Think about self-acceptance:
- Do you ever feel that you have to provide justifications?
- Is your focus mostly on your past wrong doings and undesirable behaviors?
- How do you acknowledge your self-worth?
If you relate to the above three questions chances are that you are struggling to accept yourself!
What is self-acceptance?
Self-acceptance means that you are accepting yourself unconditionally with everything that happened in the past including those mistakes and drawbacks. You don’t have to invest so much time to explain what happened and why it happened. Think of here and now, you are ‘YOU” today, and whatever happened in the past should be left behind you. No one has the right to discuss your self-worth and acknowledge it as much as you should!
You are not alone!
We all have our own strengths and limitations. But some of us consistently focus on our limitations, instead of our strengths.
Think about it!
Does it help to focus on how worthless you are!
How incompetent you could be!
The answer is NO!
If you are stuck in the past, you will always have issues with your self-esteem and self-confidence, eventually you will never accept yourself.
Huge mistake – wake up you are totally fine as you are!
Watch out for your limiting beliefs and instead of limits think “Opportunities”, consider how you can work on all those things you thought you “can’t” do and find ways to challenge them, it took us many tries to learn to walk, so why not try new things now!
Accept yourself now! Don’t wait for more experiences or opinions! All those things that were your limitations are most likely those things that you must do in order to move on to another stage in your life, to achieve your dreams. Change is the secret to your success, you have achieved so much so far, you own many things, you have many people who love – even if they don’t mention it – you got so much talent my friend you can do it!
Take action
Start today, start now at this moment! Make mistakes, break things go hard go forward fly and jump – you got to accept it all and most importantly accept yourself!
Remember my words here – No Drama, No Excuses and No regrets move on today and go for your dreams count 5-4-3-2-1 and go and talk to your crush. Start applying for those jobs, network and go on with your faith no one will decide what happens except you!
